Hiking & Biking
Neukirchen am Großvenediger in Salzburger Land is the ideal starting point for your hikes in the Hohe Tauern National Park. Whether in the Habachtal, the only region with emerald deposits in Europe, in the Krimmler Achental which starts at the highest waterfalls in Europe and with its approx. 14 km long, gently ascending path is more like a walk or in the Sulzbach valleys directly adjacent to Neukirchen, which takes you right up to the foot of the Groß Venediger, the highest mountain in Salzburg, each is an adventure in itself.
With your bike or e-bike along the Tauernradweg, with your mountain bike up to the Wildkogelarena or in one of the side valleys. You are spoiled for choice!

Golfing and motorcycling
Golfers will definitely get their money's worth in the Salzburger- & Tiroler Land. The Golfclub Mittersil is only 15 minutes by car from Villa Deningfeld and the Leading Golfclub in Zell am See can be reached in about 40 minutes by car.
Our house offers the best starting point for extensive motorcycle tours in the Alps and the annual "Club of Newchurch".
